Mission
At Angel MedFlight, our mission is centered on our patients and their families. We are committed to transporting them quickly and safely to the care they need, putting our heart and soul into every flight. Our goal is to deliver excellence in air medical services at every stage of the process, every patient, every encounter, every time. The patient is, and always will be, our top priority.

Medical Flight Certifications
Angel MedFlight is committed to providing high-quality patient care. Our Critical Care Clinicians are leaders in the air ambulance field, holding advanced certifications for in-flight patient care. The Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) and Flight Paramedic–Certified (FP-C) designations exceed industry standards and ensure that our team is well-trained and prepared to transport even the most critical patients.

Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN)
A registered nurse who is certified for in-flight care must pass a specialized exam that focuses on medical information pertaining to air transport. Once certified, a nurse has the capacity to focus on the unique needs of in-flight patients and render appropriate care.

Flight Paramedic – Certified (FP-C)
FP-C is considered the highest level of academic achievement that a paramedic can obtain. The certification signifies a master-level capability within critical care medicine. Being the most difficult certification a paramedic can accomplish, there are only a few thousand paramedics who hold it.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
This certification includes a set of clinical interventions for emergency treatment of cardiac arrest, stroke, or other life-threatening conditions. It requires not only knowledge of the interventions but also the ability to use them.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
When an infant or child is suffering from a critical illness, the PALS certification helps medical staff develop the skills and knowledge needed to stabilize the patient. Whether they are suffering from issues with blood flow, breathing, heart, or other ailments, PALS is designed to teach medical staff the best way to care for patients during a medical jet flight.

Basic Life Support (BLS)
More than just learning how to perform CPR on infants, children, and adults, the Basic Life Support certification goes even further. As part of the certification, medical staff stay up to date in the use of defibrillators, as well as preventative techniques to avoid the spread of pathogens, viruses, or bacteria.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Every member of our medical team is required to hold and renew this certification throughout their employment.

National Board for Respiratory Care
NBRC Certification is awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), an organization that evaluates the professional competence of respiratory therapists and pulmonary function technologists. These certifications, such as the Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), demonstrate our practitioner's skills and knowledge through a series of examinations.
