Air Ambulance Hawaii

Do you, a loved one, or patient in Hawaii require an air ambulance (or medical flight)? Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance Services and our award-winning medical flight team are here to help no matter the distance – wherever you are. Our air ambulance team members along with Aerojet, our preferred part 15 operator, help patients around the world reach the life changing care they need. Explore our critical care services now. Aerojet owns and operates Learjet that are medically equipped and configured for patient safety, hygiene and comfort on the healthcare journey.

Almost 9 million travelers from the United States and other countries visit Hawaii every year. Travelers visiting Hawaii from other states and from overseas are sometimes unable to return home on a commercial airline and require a medical transport via air ambulance (Jet ICU) for rehabilitation, transplant, or treatment after a critical injury or illness.

Hawaii is home to almost 200,000 senior citizens over the age of 65. The senior population is continually rising, as the oldest of the Baby Boomer generation are approaching and reaching their early seventies. Unfortunately, seniors often require a medical flight (or Jet ICU) to reach the right level of care covered by their insurance nearby family members after an injury or accident. Angel MedFlight’s award winning clinicians are experienced in medical transports and care to all critical care patients, including senior patients.

At Angel MedFlight we know we meet our patients and their family members on the most stressful days of their lives, and we understand that every moment counts when it comes to reaching the care you need when you need it most. That’s why our flight coordinators are here for you around the clock – so your patient can reach the right level of care when they need it. Angel MedFlight partners with Aerojet, our preferred part 135 operator, to fly patients on medically configured Learjet that promote hygiene, comfort and most of all, safety. An Aerojet flight captain and a supporting pilot safely transport patients on every healthcare mission, while Angel MedFlight’s certified flight nurse (RN) and flight paramedic (EMP-T) provide complete care and support throughout the medical transport.

What makes Angel MedFlight different?

Angel MedFlight knows that when it comes to getting your patient to the next level of care, you want them to have the best possible treatment and transport. That’s why our medical flight team strives for the industry’s highest training and certification standards. One of our certified nurses (RN) and one of our paramedics (EMP-T) are on board every medical flight to provide the best air medical care available.

Every one of our clinicians receives regular exams and training on air medical procedures and patient care. Most of our medical flight team members have over a decade of critical care experience and have earned additional specialty certifications, including CCRN, CEN, CCP-C, CCEMTP. They are also aware of the air medical industry overall and how to work with Angel Flight and other healthcare and aviation organizations, so that every patient can reach the right level of care.

Every Angel MedFlight clinician maintains board certification in the flight specialty, (FP-C and CFRN) to provide quality care to our patients in a controlled environment.

Our air ambulance medical flight team members frequently transport critical care patients to and from Hawaii for transplant, treatment, specialty care, and rehabilitation. If you, a patient, or loved one is having a medical crisis in Hawaii and needs a medical flight (or Jet ICU) to reach a healthcare facility there, our air ambulance team members are here to make the healthcare journey as comfortable and safe as possible.

You can trust the company with air medical’s highest patient satisfaction ratings.

At Angel MedFlight we are proud to have the air ambulance industry’s highest patient satisfaction ratings online. Our preferred part 135 operator, Aerojet, flies Learjet to provide the utmost in patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction, traveling at higher altitudes for a smoother, faster flight. Every medical transport includes all of the necessary critical care components. Angel MedFlight’s certified flight nurse and paramedic, and Aerojet’s flight captain and second pilot accompany patients and their loved ones on every one of our healthcare missions.

From bedside-to-bedside, our medical flight team members provide complete care (at the sending and receiving facilities) to reduce stress levels for patients and their family members and make the medical transport as smooth as possible. On every flight, Angel MedFlight and Aerojet leave room for up to two accompanying loved ones to ride along for emotional support, and a positive patient experience.

Your flight coordinator, medical flight team members, and your sending and or receiving facility all communicate to ensure your healthcare needs are thoroughly addressed down to the details, including any prescriptions, IV fluids, nutrition, oxygen, and any other accommodations necessary.

Angel MedFlight employees understand that every moment counts when it comes to getting your patient to the right level of care. Patients, their family members, and healthcare providers can easily assess their air ambulance options with our flight coordination team and qualify for any insurance coverage available. We are here to support you and your patient needs anytime – call us 24/7 to speak with a flight coordinator at 866-502-3099.
