Ranking the Best Hospitals in the Nation

Each year, the U.S. News and World Report releases its rankings of the best hospitals in the country. The report helps patients figure out which hospitals or facilities are best suited to treat them. U.S. News analyzes data from nearly 5,000 medical centers and survey responses from more than 30,000 physicians to rank hospitals in 16 adult specialties including cancer, diabetes, rheumatology, and more. According to U.S. News, survival rates, patient safety, specialized staff, and hospital reputation were among the factors weighed.

Patients across the country want the best care possible to ensure the optimal clinical outcome. Centers of Excellence (COE) around the country continue to meet the need and push the envelope of care in their specialties.

The top Centers of Excellence are spread across the country and in many cases, create a burden of distance to get to the level of care patients need. At Angel MedFlight, we work to coordinate the transport to these facilities to remove that burden. If you or your loved one needs a medically configured medical flight on an air ambulance, give Angel MedFlight a call and let us help you get to the care you deserve.
