We’re serious about our commitment to safety and excellence in all arenas of medical transport. Each of our top of the line aircraft is operated by a two-pilot crew at all times.

Qualifications

Our pilots are highly qualified Commercial pilots Multi

Engine and Instrument ratings, and type-ratings in the particular aircraft they are flying. They have extensive flight experience, with at least 3,500 total logged hours of flight time, with 1,500 hours logged as Pilot in Command.

Training

All Angel Medflight pilots undergo simulator training in the specific make and model aircraft they’re flying. Captains attend semi-annual training at approved flight schools (FlightSafety, Simuflite), and Co-Captains attend annual training. These are the same training standards that commercial airline pilots uphold. We told you we meant business.
